Joshua got involved with Permaculture in 2005 and after completing his training at the Permaculture Association has been teaching since 2011 at various locations in Europe. His natural talent of working with people from all walks of life and his deep understanding of our ecosystem and permaculture design principles makes him a very pleasant and inspiring person to be around. He also has a background working with children and young adults in the area of performance arts including theatre and circus skills.
Samantha has 8 years of environmental outdoor education experience with children of all ages in different countries. She has an academic background to a postgraduate level in geology, marine science, natural resource management, conservation and education. She has designed, managed and been the lead educator for youth educational programs in Australia, Vanuatu, the U.S. (including Hawaii) and Portugal focusing on environment, science, conservation and sustainability. She has recently completed her Forest School Leader 3 training in the UK.
Margarida is a native Portuguese speaker with a qualification in Educação de Infância and is in her second year of training to become a qualified Waldorf teacher. She has worked with children from 0 to 10 years old and is part of an Association inspired by the Waldorf teaching method 'Associação Flor Dente-de-Leão' that is very active in the central Algarve Region.
